The Olympian has put his name in the ring for the election on July 20, with nominations closing on Friday.\xa0
Mahe Drysdale told Mike Hosking \u201cI\u2019m pretty central \u2013 I just want what\u2019s best for the country.\u201d\xa0
Drysdale said \u201cI will form an opinion of what the community wants - I'm very focused on making Tauranga New Zealand's best small city.\u201d\xa0
