Businesses are waiting to hear the criteria for the latest extension to the wage subsidy scheme.
Finance Minister Grant Robertson is set to reveal more details about the extension this afternoon.
He's already said it will be available nationwide.
Canterbury Employers Chamber of Commerce CEO Leann Watson told Mike Hosking they're encouraged to hear the Government talking about reviewing the current criteria.
"I think this is a different situation now, there's no doubt that that support does need to be targetted."
