Karen Chhour is acknowledging the Court of Appeal overturning the decision which blocked her from the Waitangi Tribunal summons.\xa0

The decision rejected a High Court ruling, which had found the Children's Minister did not have to front with her reasoning for removing Section 7AA from the Oranga Tamariki Act. \xa0

Chhour told Mike Hosking that\xa0she listened to issues in the community, campaigned on it, and the removal is part of her promise to make real change.\xa0

She says she didn't realise it would receive so much attention, but it's good it's sparked a conversation.\xa0
