Deputy Police Commissioner, Jevon McSkimming told Mike Hosking that reports that the system is dangerous, old, and slow, are not entirely accurate.

He said that it's a 20-year-old system designed around voice and needs to be updated to leverage digital capabilities as society moves in that direction.\xa0
