Inflation is expected to cool further today, but some predict it falling more than others.\xa0

ANZ's expecting today's figures to show annual inflation dropping to 4%, down from the 4.7% it was in last year's final quarter.\xa0

The forecast is above the Reserve Bank's February expectation of 3.8%. \xa0

ANZ Economist Henry Russell told Mike Hosking that's a little low.\xa0

He says there should be enough data in today's figures to show inflation is continuously coming down, but progress is coming more slowly than the Reserve Bank anticipated.\xa0
