Self-driving cars are increasing in popularity even though they continue to fail safety tests. \xa0
The four-time Bathurst 1000 winner turned road safety advocate understands the attempt to market something new and combat driver issues like fatigue but says they can do more harm than good. \xa0
He says these systems were put in place to try to fix the void for drivers who aren't good at driving.\xa0
