Tinder is getting a tick of approval for its latest attempt to improve the safety of users.

It follows several high-profile incidents, including the death of UK backpacker Grace Millane on a Tinder date in Auckland in 2018.
Women's Refuge chief executive Dr Ang Jury told Mike Hosking apps can tick off legal boxes - but relationship will not always be so black and white.
Consent is a "moving thing", she said, and people can withdraw it after they have given it.
