The Police Association says a targeted approach to youth crime is a good move.\xa0

The Government's launched a programme which will see New Zealand's 60 worst young offenders assigned an incentive support social worker, who'll tailor their work to them.\xa0

Police Association President Chris Cahill told Mike Hosking it's worth a shot.\xa0

He says Police in Christchurch are dealing with a horrific youth problem, but they say the 20 to 30 top offenders are causing the most problems, so targeting them is worthwhile.\xa0
