Catherine Field: France Correspondent on the high annualised deficit sitting at 5.5% of the GDP

The French GDP has taken a bit of a hit.\xa0

The country\u2019s annualised debt for the year is sitting at 5.5%, higher than the 4.9% they were aiming for.\xa0

France Correspondent Catherine Field told Mike Hosking that the French Finance Minister has started to tell the country that they have to save around \u20ac10 billion, approximately $18 billion NZD.\xa0

GDP growth is now predicted to only be around 1%, she said, and people are not feeling very confident about the economy.\xa0
