A Coromandel Peninsula community is set to hold an emergency meeting after a gang caused chaos over the weekend.\xa0

A video obtained by Newstalk ZB shows several Rebel gang members attacking what appears to be members of the public on the side of the street in Coromandel township. \xa0

Locals say there were multiple attacks and thefts.\xa0

Coromandel Business Association Vice Chair Anne Louden told Mike Hosking that they're shocked by the experience.\xa0

She says she's stunned to see the level of gang violence on the videos, specifically the brutal violence shown in their local hotel on Saturday night. \xa0

The meeting starts at 6pm in the Coromandel Citizens Hall.\xa0
