Renewable energy is on the rise.\xa0
Recent stats from MBIE show that the renewable share of electricity generation was 90.3% for the October to December 2023 quarter.\xa0
Ernst & Young\u2019s Director Angela Ogier told Mike Hosking that 95% renewable energy is definitely doable in this country, it\u2019s where we\u2019re trending naturally with current technologies.\xa0
She said that bureaucracy is slowing down some elements of the rollout of out wind and solar farms, and they need to be sped up in order for us to meet our energy targets.\xa0
