Ana Maria Rivera: Call for creative sector to play bigger part in NZ's economy
The creative sector says now is the perfect time to rethink and expand it's reach and activity for our economy.
Currently, the sector adds $17.5 billion to our GDP, and supports 131,000 jobs, but it is still apparently only in it's infancy.
A new paper this morning, Unleashing New Zealand's Creative Economy, has been launched by Yoobee College.
Yoobee's CEO Ana Maria Rivera joins Mike Hosking to talk about the potential for this part of our economy.
