William Ellis Atchison II to his parents William Ellis Atchison Sr. and Rose Marie Atchison. He was also known as Rose\u2019s son through the neighborhood because of his mother\u2019s heavy influence in the community with children. William lost his father at the age of five leaving his mother to raise him along with his three sisters. When William turned 18 he changed his name to Teekaun Atchison to create and start his own legacy. At the tender age of five, Sonny Rose became the man of the household. He did his best to keep his family together. He had watched his mom struggle trying to maintain while keeping a smile on her face. He draws feeling from this experience and expresses himself in his music. When his father passed Sonny didn\u2019t know how to express himself begin young he was inspired to started writing his feelings down on paper which turned him to poetry and this started the creation of his alter ego \u2018Sonny Rose\u2019.
