Potential Government Shutdown
In this hour my co-host Brad Bannon and I discuss the possibility of another government shutdown. This time it would be under the watch of new House Speaker Paul Ryan. The shutdown could have occurred today, December 11th, but Congress passed a temporary spending bill to extend the deadline until next Wednesday.
Key 'riders' of the bill include the funding of Planned Parenthood and the Syrian Resettlement Program. The spending bill looks to increase the budget of the US government by about $66 billion.
