We venture into the realm of sleep and dreams for Horrortober\u2018s latest Kulturecast:\xa0The Nightmare. The film is a documentary-horror hybrid film from director Rodney Ascher that takes a look at the complicated topic of sleep paralysis. Focusing on a group of interviewees, the film also features unsettling and often disturbing dramatizations of their experiences with sleep paralysis. Along with a talk about the film, we also speak with the director about the film, his experiences with sleep paralysis, and what we can expect next from him.
