Directed by George Miller and starring the aforementioned Gibson, the film follows the titular Max as he attempts to survive in a slightly futuristic wasteland full of Ozzie motorcycle gangs and protect his family from harm. It\'s a hell of an opening to the popular franchise and one that sets the stage perfectly for things to come.
