Often in the fitness world there\u2019s a disconnect between being a fulltime parent and \u201cthe fitness junkie\u201d that makes being into fitness seem difficult or somewhat impossible, but Elliot has come up with an approach to make it seem much more accessible and doable. \u201cThe outcome goal would be, \u2018I\u2019m going to lose 10 pounds\u2019 for example, whereas the identity based goal is \u2018I\u2019m gonna be the type of person who works out every day.\u2019\u201d

So it might just be that I just do a 10 minute workout every day and it\u2019s just those little things that then identify yourself as a person when you\u2019re having a conversation with someone, \u2018Yeah I work out 5 days a week\u2019 you become that type of person, therefore that starts changing your identity.\u201d 9:49
