Shifting Your Perspective on Setbacks | Letting Life Fall into Place

Published: Oct. 27, 2022, 10 a.m.

The inspiration for this topic came from a post that Adam read on Linkedin. The post reads “Last year when I got laid off, I thought I had lost my dream job. Instead, I created my dream company. 12 years ago I left San Francisco heartbroken after a bitter breakup. I met my soulmate in New York soon after. We’ve been happily married for over 10 years. 8 years ago, my husband and I quit trying to conceive a child after fertility treatments proved to be futile. My daughter just turned 7. God’s delays are not God’s denials. Keep going.” How many times do we see delays as a denial, or we don’t see the purpose of a setback? But with just a bit of patience, often we will be surprised by what happens in our lives.

Our lives are falling into place 1:45
Faith is important 3:01
Moving back to Ireland 5:18
Nothing is a waste 8:41
Sometimes the answer to your prayer doesn’t look like what you think it will be 11:54

“Maybe instead of looking at your life as falling apart, maybe it’s falling into place. It’s literally all these different ways that we quote or give these cliches, it’s all just about shifting the way that we look at things and having faith in a big vision with some divine help to make it happen.” 2:30
