The greatest clutch shooter and easily one of the most talented players to ever don the candy stripes, Jay Edwards is back to candidly discuss his two seasons in Bloomington under Coach Robert Montgomery Knight.

Perhaps no Hoosier ever experienced such extreme highs and lows as Jay. As a freshman he barely saw the court for the first 16 games, including a 5-game academic suspension, yet averaged 19.2 points a game in conference and was named Big Ten Freshman of the Year.

As a sophomore he entered rehab and lost his scholarship, only to return and lead IU to its most unlikely conference title ever, burying 3 legendary buzzer beaters, all on his way to being named Big Ten Player of the Year and an All-American.

Jay was a truly special player, and remains a truly special man, and we are so proud to call him a Hoosier.
