I asked a question in my It\u2019s Not that Hard to Homeschool K-8 Facebook group recently: \u201cDo you feel like a success as a homeschool mom? Why or why not?\u201d

As you can imagine, there was a wide range of answers \u2014 but more \u201cno\u2019s\u201d than I expected.

But as I think about it, it makes sense to me that we don\u2019t feel confident that we\u2019re doing a good job. I think we\u2019ve got an idea stuck in our heads about what makes a \u201csuccessful\u201d homeschool \u2014 and it\u2019s the WRONG idea.
