LISK: The Unidentified

After the Gilgo Four victims were discovered in December of 2010, detectives are looking for more victims of the Long Island Serial Killer. So, in the spring of 2011, law enforcement officers conduct a massive search of Long Island\u2019s Gilgo Beach and surrounding areas. On April 4th of 2011, two sets of human remains are found: Jane Doe #6, later identified as 24-year-old Valerie Mack, and the yet-to-be-identified Gilgo Beach Doe. Though Gilgo Beach Doe\u2019s remains were skeletal, forensic experts determine that they were Asian, between 17 and 23 years old, 5\u20196\u201d tall, missing several teeth, and may have had a musculoskeletal disorder that affected how they walked. For years, officials referred to Gilgo Beach Doe as \u201cUnidentified Asian Male,\u201d despite evidence suggesting that Gilgo Beach Doe was a transgender woman.
