A bill being debated by the Senate bolsters airport security, based on the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission - recommendations which the Republican majority of the past ignored. The Democrats also included language in the bill which would allow 45,000 federal airport workers to unionize. Of course, the Bush cabal plans on vetoing security improvements solely to prevent this unionization. Meanwhile, in the House, a bill passed, along fairly strict party lines, that aims to make it harder for employers to interfere with their employees' right to unionize. It should be no surprise that Senate Republicans plan to block this bill; in addition, Bush has promised yet another veto, should the Senate fail to keep this one off his desk. This Congress may become known as "The Congress of the Bush Veto"!!! Jared and Ralph support American workers
