Continuing with the theme of creating peace within ourselves and in our world, an important component of achieving peace is to learn to forgive.
We only need to look at the situation in the Middle East between Israel and Lebanon to see the destructive effect that unforgivenness has on a group of people.
As individuals, we may also hold others in unforgiveness, and we may find that we are just as captive as the person we refuse to forgive.
I read from Matthew 18:21-35 and discuss a metaphysical interpretation of what can happen when we refuse to forgive.
In this week's Prayer Circle, I share a meditation taught to me by Reiki Master Beth Simmons Stapor.
The meditation has served me well, and I am glad to passit on to you.
