Had a wonderful chat with Stephan Melillo. A world-renowned composer, Stephen\u2019s more than 1240 works include 4 symphonies, several concerti and over 40-hours of Music for Ensembles of the 3rd Millennium\u2122.\xa0 Stephen\u2019s Symphony IIII: Lightfall, was nominated for the\xa0Pulitzer\xa0and\xa0Nemmers\xa0Prize in Music.\xa0 Winner of three 2009\xa0Telly\xa0&\xa0Ava\xa0Awards for his 2005 Visualized Concert,\xa0Kakehashi: That We Might Live, Stephen's concert-version of that work was nominated for the\xa0Pulitzer\xa0Prize in Music.\xa0 A fourth\xa0Telly\xa0Award was given for\xa0\u201cBest Use of Music\u201d\xa0in the 2019 feature film,\xa0One Little Finger\xa0produced by Rupam Sarmah.\xa0 A fifth\xa0Telly\xa0Award included Stephen\u2019s work on the 2019\xa0Reckoning of Darkness\xa0produced by Christopher Kulikowski.\xa0 Stephen\u2019s 15 feature film scores include the Oscar-nominated\xa012:01PM\xa0and\xa0the Jonathan Heap horror thriller,\xa0The Unwilling.\xa0\xa0Stephen has been a recipient of the ASCAP Concert Awards each year since 1992.\xa0\xa0STORMWORKS,\xa0Stephen\u2019s pioneering, self-publishing entity, has gone from 0 to many thousands of worldwide renderings since 1992 simply by word-of-mouth.\xa0 He has 41 CDs and 9 books on varied streaming services and stores, including,\xa0Ahab, a Love Story,\xa0\xa0and most recently the sequel,\xa0Death to Moby Dick, a Love Story.
