Voted one of People Magazine\u2019s \u201cSexiest Men Alive\u201d for 2003, Rossi Morreale is currently host of ABC\u2019s \u201cDating in the Dark.\u201d Previously he hosted the reality singing competition \u201cCan You Duet\u201d and \u201cTemptation,\u201d a half-hour syndicated game show based on the global game show hit, \u201cSale of the Century.\u201d
Prior to \u201cTemptation,\u201d Morreale hosted \u201cFoody Call\u201d for The Style Network, \u201cRiding with Rossi\u201d for The Travel Channel, where he helped celebrate the country's continuing love affair with the motorized vehicle. From monster trucks to classic car expos and motorcycle rallies, the series enthralled audiences with some of the most amped-up machines on the planet.
A \u201cgood ol\u2019 Southern boy\u201d at heart, Morreale was born and raised in Arkansas, where he attended the University of Arkansas and was starting wide receiver for the Arkansas Razorbacks. An avid sports player and viewer, he soon found a home on the G4 network as host of \u201cSweat,\u201d a feature-oriented sports show where he interviewed many high-profile athletes from Shaquille O\u2019Neal to Tony Hawk. After \u201cSweat\u201d he moved to TLC, where he became host of \u201cJunkyard Mega-Wars,\u201d followed by \u201cOn-Air with Ryan Seacrest\u201d and Spike TV\u2019s \u201cMidnight Spike.\u201d For the latter two shows he appeared as correspondent and host, rubbing elbows with Hollywood celebrities and music superstars.
Morreale\u2019s hosting abilities run the gamut from sports programs to geeky mechanic shows to hob-knobbing with Hollywood elite. A host with no bounds, he\u2019s equally at home trailing Tony Hawk on a skateboard or sipping champagne on a red carpet.
