Dead to Sin

In this message, we consider what it means to be “dead to sin” from Romans 6:1-11. Through our union with Christ, believers have died to reigning power of sin over their lives. When Christ died for sin, we died to sin’s dominion through his death. Now, by the enabling power of God’s Spirit, we are able to resist sin’s power in our lives (Rom. 8:13; Titus 2:11). Christ “breaks the power of panelled sin and sets the prisoner free.”
