(Dt.4:32-34,39-40;\xa0\xa0 Ps.33:4-6,9,12,18-20,22;\xa0\xa0 Rom.8:14-17;\xa0\xa0 Mt.28:16-20)\xa0 \u201cYou must know now, and fix in your heart, that \u2018the Lord is God in the heavens above and on earth below, and that there is no other.\u2019\u201d \u201cDid a people ever hear the voice of God speaking from the midst of fire, as you did, and live?\u201d Moses asks the Israelite nation.\xa0 \u201cDid any god venture to go and take a nation for Himself\u201d with the great \u201csigns and wonders\u201d that accompanied Israel\u2019s release from Egyptian bondage?\xa0 No.\xa0 For the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is the God of heaven and earth, the one true God.\xa0 For \u201cby the word of the Lord the heavens were made; by the breath of His mouth all their host.\u201d\xa0 Yes, \u201cHe spoke, and it was made, He commanded and it stood forth.\u201d\xa0 None is great as the Father in heaven. And of the power of the Father, Jesus, the Son, shares: \u201cAll power in heaven and on earth has been given to me,\u201d He declares in truth.\xa0 It is He who suffers and dies for us; it is He who thus reveals God\u2019s love \u2013 it is He whom all nations adore in the holy court.\xa0 The words of the Father He brings to our ears; His commands, which bring life and \u201cdeliver\u2026 from death,\u201d He speaks in our hearing.\xa0 Here is the Word by which all comes to be made flesh in our sight. And we, \u201cwe are children of God, and if children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ\u201d \u2013 to this \u201cthe Spirit Himself bears witness,\u201d speaking in our souls the NAME of God.\xa0 Yes, \u201cthose who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God,\u201d and the Spirit is now with us to lead us, to help us \u201ckeep His statutes and commandments,\u201d that we might \u201chave long life on the land which the Lord, [our] God, is giving [us] forever.\u201d\xa0 And now so on fire with the Spirit of God, Jesus present with us always in body and soul, and standing as holy children of the Father\u2026 we must \u201cmake disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that [the Lord has] commanded.\u201d \u201cOur soul waits for the Lord, who is our help and our shield.\u201d\xa0 His presence is upon us always for good, and we long now to know the fullness of the Trinity.\xa0 He whose \u201cworks are trustworthy\u201d we seek to make our own, that we might be one with Him who is One.\xa0 \u201cOf the kindness of the Lord the earth is full.\u201d\xa0 May He who \u201cloves justice and right\u201d be known in His fullness by all.
