44: Race, White Privilege, & Passive Racism

Published: April 11, 2016, 7 a.m.

This episode was inspired by a recent story about a news anchor who took to her Facebook page (which was connected to her company) and spouted off some prejudiced nonsense about a shooting in the Pittsburgh area. We discuss her post, my reaction to it on Facebook and the response of the public. Plus, we talk about how being on reality TV changed the way we saw privilege, race, and stereotyping. We discuss accidental racism, how we try to combat our own implicit biases, and more.
