IU-Arkansas Postgame Show: Hoosiers Collapse Late in Dispiriting Home Loss

Published: Dec. 30, 2019, 3:17 a.m.

b'On Sunday evening, Indiana built a double-digit second half lead against visiting Arkansas before getting dominated late and eventually losing by seven. Trayce Jackson-Davis was dominant in the first half but was unable to get enough touches in the second half, so the Hoosiers were unable to counter the Razorbacks\' second half 3-point barrage.

After the game, our crew broke it all down on The Assembly Call IU Postgame Show.

On the mics: Coach, Ryan, and Chad

Among the topics discussed:

— Another impressive performance from Trayce Jackson-Davis, despite his inability to get involved in the second half.
— Why didn\'t Archie Miller make more lineup changes in the second half when things were going wrong?
— What impact did Al Durham\'s first half ejection have on the final result?
— What could/should Indiana have done to get Trayce more touches?
— Was Indiana\'s defense actually a moderate bright spot?
— Why Indiana will struggle in every game when its guards play as badly as they did on Sunday night.

We also point out a few meaningful moments you may have missed, go inside the numbers, and hand out our game balls. All of that, and more, on this edition of The Assembly Call.
