About the Brand: We are a black woman owned clothing brand dedicated to promoting the acceptance of autistic people. Established in 2017, inspired by my younger brother, who has ASD. I wanted to shift the word \u201cstrange\u201d into a good word. No brain is \u201cnormal\u201d and we should be more inclusive towards those with differing abilities, not solely because of their gifts, but because it\u2019s a basic human right this community deserves. We help advocate for this community by spreading awareness about injustices within the black autism community. For example, Matthew Rushing\u2019s case of being incarcerated after law enforcement ignored his ASD diagnosis, and coerced him into a plea deal. We seek to highlight the intersection of disability and racial injustice.
