Atlantucky Brewery and Bright Ring Foundation will be hosting the \u201cDeeply Rooted\u201d art exhibit from April 16 through May 8. The entire run of the show is free to attend, and there will be a \u201cmeet the artists\u201d event on opening night, Friday, April 16 from 4 pm - 8 pm. For the rest of the show\u2019s run, the public is invited to visit Atlantucky (located at 170 Northside Drive SW) on Tuesday - Friday between 2 pm - 6 pm. \u201cDeeply Rooted\u201d embraces the Castleberry Hill neighborhood where the brewery resides.

Curated by Ian Daniels, founder of Bright Ring, in partnership with Fish Scales and Skinny DeVille, two of the founding members of both Nappy Roots and Atlantucky, the exhibit provides local artists an opportunity to display their artwork in Atlanta\u2019s Historic Art District.

All of the artwork, including paintings and digital works, were made by local Atlanta artists and is available for sale. The concept of the show is to give local artists a platform to display their work and lead to a sustainable career. On opening night, there will be an art auction as well.

\u201cWe believe in the power of expression and understand how important art is to our culture,\u201d said DeVille. \u201cAs musicians, we consider ourselves artists, and we are proud to be able to help local artists showcase their amazing work.\u201d

Nappy Roots fans and art enthusiasts alike are invited to stop by Atlantucky to see the local talents\u2019 artwork. The artwork displayed at the exhibit will be available for purchase. Atlantucky Brewery plans to begin serving its original beers in the summer of 2021.

After more than 20 years in the public eye, GRAMMY-nominated Nappy Roots has added to their repertoire by expanding beyond music into projects that include craft beer, television production and more. The alternative Southern rap group has been nominated for two GRAMMY Awards and is best known for hit singles such as \u201cGood Day,\u201d \u201cPo Folks\u201d and \u201cAwnaw.\u201d \u201cGood Day\u201d is regularly used in TV and radio ads, movie theme songs and more.

Bright Ring is a foundation that assists artists by providing the education and tools needed to improve earning potential, offering technology and education required to identify traditional and non-traditional income sources and educating the public about the value of arts and crafts in culture.
