He is a licensed physical therapist, Board Certified Sports Physical Therapist (SCS) and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). Before joining the 49ers, Donahue was a physical therapist at the Andrews Institute for Orthopedics and Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, FL where he provided rehabilitation for athletes in the NFL, NBA, MLB, Olympic Teams as well as US Special Forces and general population.
