What Cooking and Math have in common

Eugenia Cheng is tenured in the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sheffield in the UK and is currently the Scientist in Residence at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Since 2007, her YouTube videos explaining mathematical concepts have been viewed more than a million times. Dr. Cheng's new book is \u201cHow to Bake Pi: An Edible Exploration of the Mathematics of Mathematics.\u201d She was in the Northwest to speak at Town Hall Seattle, presented by: Town Hall and Ada\u2019s Technical Books, as part of The Seattle Science Lectures.
