Juan Enr\xedquez is recognized as one of the world's leading authorities on the economic and political impacts of life sciences. He is currently Chairman and CEO of Biotechonomy LLC, a life sciences research and investment firm. He is the co-founder of Excel Venture Management, which has funded such innovative projects as 3D printers, flying cars and synthetic microbes. Mr. Enr\xedquez's TED Talk \u201cThe next species of human\u201d has over 2.5 million views. His latest book is "Evolving Ourselves: How Unnatural Selection and Nonrandom Mutation are Changing Life on Earth." Mr. Enr\xedquez was in the Northwest to speak at Town Hall Seattle, presented by: Town Hall and University Book Store, as part of The Seattle Science Lectures.
