Martin Ford is the founder of a Silicon Valley-based software development firm and has over 25 years of experience in computer design and software development. He is the author of \u201cThe Lights in the Tunnel: Automation, Accelerating Technology and the Economy of the Future.\u201d His latest book is \u201cRise of the Robots: Technology and the Threat of a Jobless Future.\u201d Martin Ford was in the Northwest to speak at Town Hall Seattle, presented by Town Hall and University Bookstore, as part of The Seattle Science Lectures.
