Adam McArthur talks about his VoiceOver journey, his show Jujutsu Kaisen, and that time he missed an audition he didn't even know about!\xa0\xa0\xa0\nAbout Adam McArthur:\xa0\nGrowing up as an 80\u2019s kid, McArthur was always inspired by the classic cartoons on TV. He was always\xa0begging his parents for an agent to combine his love for cartoons, acting and voice overs. At the age of 16,\xa0he finally got his chance and started taking acting classes in San Francisco. His talent quickly grabbed the\xa0attention of an agent and went on to book 30 radio commercials over the course of one summer for Macy\u2019s.\nMcArthur is currently the lead voice of Marco Diaz in the hit Disney XD animated comedy series Star vs.the Forces of Evil. His character is a misunderstood bad boy who befriends Star Butterfly, played by Eden\xa0Sher. Marco helps protect the magical princess and her family\u2019s heirloom wand while being pulled into an\xa0adventure of a lifetime with his new friend. The voice cast also features Jeffrey Tambor as \u201cGlossaryck\u201d, and\xa0Jenny Slate as \u201cPony Head\u201d. The show was recently ranked as one of Google\u2019s \u201cTop Trending Comedy TV\xa0Shows of 2017\u201d and the third season is airing now. The series has also garnered critical acclaim, earning\xa0three Annie Award nominations and one Behind the Voice Actors Award. McArthur is also known for his recurring voice work in the original animated series The LeBrons, from the mind of the NBA legend LeBron\xa0James.
