Dan is a very interesting chap and we had a wonderful talk, which is actually full of golden nuggets for you and your investments. He is based in Bristol, but his lessons in property can be applied anywhere. His first deal went over budget, the refurb cost DOUBLED. WHAT.


He stresses the importance of drawing floor plans first with the furniture etc in, and having a very very detailed Schedule of Work. Luckily, he has a great build team but he understands where he went wrong. He and his wife Helen, take these lessons forward and improved on their next properties.
