Today’s episode is the discussion that Samuel the Hutt led about Shuri’s faith journey in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. It’s a pretty classic Tatooine Sons take on the subject and one you probably won’t hear anywhere else.

We start every full episode explaining that pop culture in the mythology of this generation that speaks to something written on our souls. Shuri’s story in Wakanda Forever is a perfect example of this. All of us have been touched by the death of someone we love. And it’s so hard to go through. And lots of times it causes us to question everything we believe in and even lose ourselves in the process. This film hits even harder because everyone involved was dealing with this in a real world way because of the loss of Chadwick Boseman.

Thanks for checking out this short segment from our full Tatooine Sons episode this week. I really do hope you check out the rest of the episode where we discuss Kino Loy’s powerful speech from Andor Episode 10: “One Way Out,” and the legacy of Kevin Conroy as Batman.
