President Donald Trump has further empowered Special Counsel John Durham\u2019s criminal investigation into the origins of the FBI\u2019s counterintelligence investigation into the 2016 Trump campaign, granting him the authority to use classified information indefinitely for the remainder of his investigation.\xa0A Virginia judge issued an opinion in which he stated that a black man who was being tried on charges of eluding police must not have his trial in one of the courtrooms used during the coronavirus pandemic because those larger courtrooms have numerous portraits of white people.\xa0The federal government filed suit against Walmart, accusing the retail chain of fueling the opioid epidemic in the United States by filling thousands of invalid prescriptions for the addictive painkillers.\xa0Senator Ted Cruz\xa0taking heed of Joe Biden\u2019s public pronouncements indicating he would\xa0rejoin the Paris Agreement\xa0and\xa0rejoin the Iran nuclear deal, sent a\xa0letter\xa0to President Trump and Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that would head Biden off at the pass, asking Trump to submit the deals as treaties, thus forcing any such actions by Biden to be submitted to the Senate for approval.
