Freedom of speech is a bedrock foundation of personal liberty and freedom for the peoples of the world. The whole of Western\xa0civilization has embraced the need to protect and even encourage free speech in order to protect the masses from\xa0tyranny.\xa0Where there is free speech there is freedom; where there is no free speech there is no freedom. In the parts of the world that restrict speech personal liberties\xa0reduced\xa0or completely denied. Today I'll take a look at some of the most recent attacks on free speech of the past few weeks (many we have already touched on but we need to look at further) and discuss why we must all stand against these attacks. Classic Liberals have always stood for free speech, so it is clear that the "so-called progressives" behind this effort to crush the\xa0fundamental human right can no longer claim to be Liberals.
