The head of Puerto Rico’s emergency management agency is out of a job Sunday after residents of Ponce, one of cities hardest hit by a the earthquakes that ravaged the island late last month, discovered a locked warehouse stuffed to the brim with emergency supplies delivered to help those affected by Hurricane Maria more than two years ago. Despite documented and easily foreseeable failures in New York’s bail reform law (including the death of an innocent person due to the actions of one of the released criminals) Democrat politicians in the state don’t appear ready to fix the law or even acknowledge that it may have been a mistake. Republican Virginia State Senator Amanda Chase issued a warning on Friday to the thousands of Second Amendment advocates who are planning to attend an upcoming massive pro-gun rally in Richmond, saying that they are “being set up.” The Supreme Court agreed Friday to decide two cases that could forever change how American presidents are elected. The central question the Supreme Court will answer is this: Are electors, members of the Electoral College who cast the actual votes for president and vice president, bound to follow their state's popular vote results? Or are electors free to vote as they see fit? This and more as time allows, plus don't forget about the Edwards Notebook and the Veteran's Tip of the Day!
