SAXOPHONIST AND FLUTIST NELSON RANGELL
Saxophonist and flutist Nelson Rangell is back with two new releases: "Blue" an entire collection of flute recordings. \xa0This is a diverse cd with everything from pop jazz originals, cool covers, uptempo straight ahead to jazz adaptations of well known classical pieces from Ravel, Faure and Prokofiev. \xa0The other new release is called "Red" featuring all saxophone tunes. \xa0Nelson says "this is more of a contemporary pop jazz cd than a smooth jazz recording with a pretty fair amount of improvisation going on."\xa0\n\nFollow Nelson on Facebook.
