TA15 Mexican Hackerspace

Published: Sept. 23, 2010, 9 p.m.

This is the pilot of a new flavor of Talking Anthropology. The Signal Radio Project of the Hackerspaces movement asked me to join their program. I will explain to you what Hackers are in a later episode, but for now leave it with the description given in the podcast and the links below.\nIn this show I had an interview with Felixe from the first Mexican Hackerspace. We discuss the situation in Mexico, the things it needs for a hackerspace to come to existence, his involvement in the Maker Szene and the project of homebrew Club Mate.\n\nLinks:\n\nHacker (WP)\nHackerspaces.org\nofficial site of hackerspace Cholula\n@hckrspcholula on Twitter\nHacktivism (WP)\nNetneutrality\nHackerspace Design Patterns\nCholula, Mexico\nLaPazHackerSpaceTest \u2013 hackerspace in founding phase\nCo-Working Space in Mexico\nOventhack (some sort of mexican [hacker?] art festival)\nYerba Mate (WP)\nHomebrew Club Mate\nNarcotrafico (WP)\nAdhocracy (WP)\nMake Magazine\nMake Magazine Espa\xf1ol
