Mark is the creator and director behind the horror short, \u201cCoven,\u201d and the subject of the 1999 film, \u201cAmerican Movie,\u201d which documented the 3 years Mark spent writing, shooting, and editing \u201cCoven.\u201d Mark and Eli talk personal movies versus studio films, the creative process, the benefit of film school, what it was like to shoot on actual film and have to wait for it to be developed, and how they feel about the future of movies and the theater experience in the age of COVID.
