One Lord

We Are One\nOne Lord\nFebruary 12, 2017\n\nPlease turn in your Bibles to John 17:22-23(NIV) \n\n \u201cMy prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one\u201423 I in them and you in me\u2014so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.\u201d\nJohn 17:20-23\n\n1: One Lord: Massive Marching Orders \n\n\u201cTeacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?\u201d \n37 Jesus replied: \u201c \u2018Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.\u2019 i 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: \u2018Love your neighbor as yourself.\u2019 j 40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.\u201d\nMatthew 22:36-40\n\n\u201cSo in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, \nfor this sums up the Law and the Prophets.\u201d\n Matthew 7:12\n\n2: One Lord: Crucial Connection\n\n\u201cWe love because He first loved us.\u201d \n1 John 4:19\n\n3: One Lord: Debt of Love\n\nLet no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. 9 The commandments, \u201cYou shall not commit adultery,\u201d \u201cYou shall not murder,\u201d \u201cYou shall not steal,\u201d \u201cYou shall not covet,\u201d y and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: \u201cLove your neighbor as yourself.\u201d a 10 Love does no harm to a neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.\nRomans 13:8-10 (ref. 1John 4: 7-8, 20-21)\n\nWhat is God\u2019s Spirit speaking into your life today? How must you respond?
