Exodus 33:15-18)\u201c\u2026a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. 24 God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth.\u201d John 4:23-244 Imperatives in Approaching God: Imperative 1 (vs. 1): Guard your steps \u201cDo not come any closer,\u201d God said. \u201cTake off your sandals, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.\u201d Exodus 3:5The offering of a fool: to bring an unacceptable gift to God\u201cBut you ask, \u2018How have we shown contempt for your name?\u20197 \u201cBy offering defiled food on my altar. \u201cBut you ask, \u2018How have we defiled you?\u2019\u201cBy saying that the LORD\u2019s table is contemptible. 8 When you offer blind animals for sacrifice, is that not wrong? When you sacrifice lame or diseased animals, is that not wrong? Try offering them to your governor! Would he be pleased with you? Would he accept you?\u201d says the LORD Almighty.
