Dr. Abdullah bin Hamid Ali is a scholar of Islamic law with field specialties in Islamic Theology as well as Race and Blackness Studies in Muslim History. His research interests include the interconnection between law and identity formation, comparative Islamic law, and Islam\u2019s role in the modern world.\xa0 He is an associate professor at Zaytuna College in Berkeley, California.\xa0\xa0

Dr. Abdullah is well known for his inclination towards conservative views especially over the last few years.\xa0 In this podcast, I wanted to explore the rationale behind his political philosophy.\xa0 We also get into the current issue of the COVID-19 vaccine and the concept of vaccine mandates.\xa0\xa0
