When I was a senior in high school, just a couple of weeks before my senior prom, I paid one of the worst prices that I\u2019ve ever paid for \u201cbeing a whore\u201d. I was utterly brutalized by my boyfriend who was in his twenties, several years older than me. This is the story of the great beating I received due to my \u201cwhoreishness.\u201d\xa0

This is also a story about another man, a kind man, someone who tried to heal me from these wounds, but he needed to first heal himself. \xa0
