Luckily, Apple\u2019s Spirited takes the story and gives it a clever twist, says Streaming Wars host Colin Chisholm.

Focusing on the ghosts who haunt folks who need a refresh in Christmas spirit, rather than on Scrooge, the audience gets a new look at a classic.

Throw in some well-choreographed musical numbers and two dynamic actors and you have a winner.

Though the plot can plod and some components don\u2019t quite click, there\u2019s more to enjoy than distaste in this Christmas flick, which is a pretty rare occurrence for the genre.
