In June 2014, Derek and Maria Broaddus bought their dream home in Westfield, New Jersey\u2014a 6-bedroom, 3.5-bath mansion at 657 Boulevard. Just days later, before the family even moved in, they received their first letter from \u201cThe Watcher.\u201d

\nThe Watcher said they had been watching the house for decades\u2014watching the house was their job, their life. \u201cDo you know the history of the house?\u201d the letter asked. \u201cDo you know what lies within the walls of 657 Boulevard? Why are you here? I will find out.\u201d And that was just the beginning of the nightmare.
